Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2024-01-31

Second dive day and we are already in Roca Partida. 18.59.430N – 112.04.916W, wind doing 10kts NE, air and water temperature are 78F, very long period 5ft swells. 80 Ft visibility.

Underwater there is a strong current running to the west, some of the guests struggled in first dive because of the current but with some coaching from the guides now they are doing good and enjoying the Rock – loads of white tip sharks, all types of jacks, cottonmouths, horse eyes, trivally and few others.

The highlight of the morning has been five silky sharks just off the dive platform, they been there all morning guests taking lots of pics. Weather is good to us, hopefully on the next two dives we get bigger fish.
Skies are clear now but it was cloudy this morning..
