Captain’s Noon Reports – Gallant Lady – 2024-02-05

Good afternoon everyone, NGL anchored in Danzante Island bay, calm seas and light wind from north, air temperature is 18 Celsius degrees.

We received our guestsyesterday in Espiritu Santo, they were received with a glass of champagne. The crew, introduced ourselves, watched the safety video and we conducted a life jacket drill. All went good, after diner we started to make way here and arrived early in the morning.

While we were anchoring the boat a pod of dolphins was passing by and guests enjoyed looking at them, at the moment they are in the pangas looking for whales. I heard on the radio they saw a blue whale, hopefully they have more encounters before they return to the boat.

Once they comeback we will heave up anchor and head south to Agua Verde. Dave spotted a whale and we will look for it, also, we will stay in Agua Verde for the night and search for animals tomorrow in Mechudo corridor.
