Captain’s Noon Reports – Gallant Lady – 2024-02-21

NGL Sailing on 24 56.N/110 41.3W, a sunny day, air temperature 75F, but in the morning it was 61F, cold, much better now. The wind in the morning was blowing from the West at 15 knots, now better with a pleasant northwest breeze of 3 knots and no waves.

We are searching for whales through the Mechudo Corridor but so far our mother nature has only cooperated with a few whale tail, they are elusive… now that it’s calm we hope to find them soon.

Yesterday on our navigation from Danzante to Agua Verde we had encounters with at least 7 Blue Whales several times with each individual. One of them showed us their eating technique.

The plan for the afternoon is Beach activities on San Francisco Island, such as Kayaking, Hiking ,Snorkeling, and Cocktail Hour.
