Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2024-03-06

NUS Anchored at Latitude 18 46.76 N Longitude 111° 02.74 W in 80 ft depth, Pta. Tosca, Socorro Island in the morning was cloudy but now is a little sunny day. Air Temperature 25°C, this morning.

First dive was made in the lava fingers, with very good visibility 18 mtrs. Water temperature 24°c, light current to the southwest, and long swell from NW. They saw mantas come closer to the divers, this happened when the dive was almost over. They also saw just two hummer sharks, reef fishes.

The second dive was much better and still good visibility, they saw four mantas and they were close to the divers.
