Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2024-04-18

Good afternoon, NEX at anchor in Cabo Pearce, WX: Wind N 8-10 kts, Sea 2-3´, clear sky. Underwater conditions: Water temp. 24°C, Current W-E, medium to strong, very good visibility +20m.

The first dive was very good, many mantas, not even sure how many, maybe 6 different individuals, one of them was a black manta, 5 hammerheads, whitetips, and one big yellowfin tuna.

The second dive was quieter, and the current was stronger, with only two chevron mantas and one Tortuga. Yesterday the third dive at Tosca before the navy base was quiet also.

After dinner, we are going to move to Roca Partida.
