Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2024-06-18

Belle Amie anchored near the Boiler. Wind has been WNW and NW today 10-15kts this morning, 8-12 most of the rest of today. Sky overcast but trying to clear up now. Swell 4-6ft from the WNW. Air temp 25C, water temp 22C to 20C at depth, viz very nice 20m.

Cabo Pearce yesterday afternoon continued to be amazing, with dolphins again on dive 3 and a beautiful manta show on dive 4.

Today’s dives very good also.

On dive 1 some divers saw a couple dolphins around and a manta showed up at the end to make a couple of passes. What all the guests commented on was that there were white tip sharks mating down at the bottom, like a lot of mating activity, pretty wild.

Dive 2 a couple mantas around keeping the guests company.

Planning to depart for Cabo immediately after dive 4 as discussed with DPA due to weather concerns for the ride home, looking a wee bit sporty.
