NGL is in the search for Orcas, 10 NM south west of Cerralvoโs north point, heading north to search between north of Cerralvo, La Reina and south of Espiritu Santo for this afternoon. Wind is 10 knots NW and seas 1-3 feet.
This morning, after orientation briefing and breakfast, guests went out on the Inde II for the first snorkel of the trip, finding a school of โcouple of hundredsโ mobulas. The school was calm and near the surface with visibility of about 20 feet and water temperature 23 C on the surface. Guests enjoyed the school for over half an hour and then it went down.
The rest of the morning they saw scattered mobulas showing a mating courtship behavior which was very interesting. Also spotted a good size hammerhead shark individual at the surface, turtles, and different bird species.
Guests and crew are good and with good vibes to find orcas.
