Captainโ€™s Noon Reports โ€“ Gallant Lady โ€“ 2024-06-30

NGL is at Cerralvo channel at 24 degrees 03.59 North, 109 degrees 53.039 west. SE 8 knts wind and 2 feet swell SE. Beautiful sunny day. Air Temp 86F.

This first morning of the trip, dive guides gave orientation briefing to the guests and got ready to go for a first search of mobulas. We searched Punta Coyote to el Saltito, where the guests did a 10-15 minute snorkel near the reef to get familiar with the procedures, hand signals, weights, etc.

Then guests went over the channel to the north point of Cerralvo, but no luck finding any other animals yet.

Guests are back for lunch break, while the NGL move to the south of La Ventana. Our plan for this afternoon is to search for mobulas in that area but always looking for orcas too.
