Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2024-07-03

Nex is anchored E Roca Partida, Today has been great, weather is calm. Light breeze from N less than 3 kt. swell about 3 ft. Partially cloudy sky, air temperature 28°C, Diving conditions have been excellent, water temperature 24°C, low current going SE, visibility about 25 m.

We have done 2 dives in the morning; The first one was very good. The guests could see a big school of bonito mixed with tuna, several silver tips sharks, many white tips sharks laying in the balconies of the pinnacle. Big twisters of black big eyes jacks, tons of reef fish all over.

The second dive was also good, the guests could see the school of bonito and tunas surrounding the pinnacle, there were silver tips harks and white tip shark. One of the groups got out of thru pinnacle and found a bait ball, it was fantastic to see the silky sharks and the tuna feeding from the bait ball, the action was amazing.
