Early in the morning there was a couple of humpback whales close to the boat, they were a mother and a calf. They were performing a great show for the guests. The calf was breaching several times close to the boat.

We have done 2 dives in Cabeza de Gorilla point. Conditions for diving are not the best but it is like this everywhere.

The first dive was challenging, viz was too short but the diver could see many nudibranchs, lots of star fish and lots of reef fish. Water was warm in the surface but when they went down, a thermocline changed the temp to 22°C. And viz improved a little to 5 – 6 m.

In the second dive viz improved a little more it was it was 5 – 7 m. but temperature got cooler, 20°C. Some divers said they saw some hammerhead sharks, many kinds of nudibranchs, others saw a bull’s eye ray and hundreds of reef fish.

Now, they are having lunch and later we are going to continue diving in others site, hopping that conditions get better.
