Captainโ€™s Noon Reports โ€“ Under Sea โ€“ 2024-07-25

28.23.312N โ€“ 112.17.920W anchor in San Pedro Martin, we arrived here around 10:30 this morning, we had a long ride and our speed changed few times during the crossing.

Is a beautiful day today lots of clouds in the morning hours but now skies are clear, air temperature is 88F, today we have a stunning 80ft visibility, water temperature is 78F, current running to the south.

We just did our first dive in el Arroyo, guests impressed with the site they had loads of the sea lions, octopus, several nudibranchs, an olive ridley turtle, and a lot of other tropical fish. In this anchorage site ocean is flat.

While picking up guests I spotted a special sea lion, very quiet on the rock looks like resting BUT I think that poor thing is at the end of its strength he is fighting a fishing net caught around the neck I can see how the net is been cutting thru the skin looks like is been there for long now.

Guests and crew doing fantastic, yesterday right after last dive Luca came up and while waiting for the rest of the group we spotted the dolphins again. We took him for a while and he was able to see the dolphin up close.
