Captainโ€™s Noon Reports โ€“ Under Sea โ€“ 2024-08-03

NUS Anchored at 28ยฐ23.1N-112ยฐ19.1W, in San Pedro Martir Island, sunny day, air temperature 94ยฐF, south wind of 15 knots and swell of 2 ft at the anchorage,

This morning two dives were made, visibility of 80ft and water temperature 86ยฐF on the surface and thermocline at 50ft of 74ยฐF, strong current towards the NW.

Very good interaction with the Sea Lions, which bit the divers’ fins, also saw turtles and many reef fish, all guests happy.

We planned two more dives in the afternoon and after the last dive, M/E ON and started sailing south and try to be in the morning at the Hot Spot and look for Orcas, Pilot Whales & Sperm whales.
