Captainโ€™s Noon Reports โ€“ Gallant Lady โ€“ 2024-08-13

Hello amigos, the NGL Is at Carmen Island, BCS.

We stopped first at Danzante Island in Honey Moon Bay and did one dive in the morning south of Honey moon Bay, in a protected reef to do the check-up dive. Everything went right, the dive was very good.

The divers loved it, they saw many nudibrachs, tons of reef fish, many kinds of soft coral and hard coral. Visibility was ok, about 10 m. water temperature was 23ยฐC and no current at all.

At mid-morning we sent the skiff โ€œInde 2โ€ to follow the airplane because they reported a Blue Whale close to our position. We loaded the skiff withe 10 guests and all the necessary gear to watch the whale. They were chancing the whale for a while but they could never reach it. Then they came back to dive.

In North point in Danzante Island. This dive was good, the divers saw big schools of jacks surrounding the divers and making circles around them. They also saw lots of nudibranchs, and also lots of corals.

They came to the boat to have lunch and now they are preparing to do one more dive in โ€œEl Abismoโ€ in Carmen Island.
