Captainโ€™s Noon Reports โ€“ Explorer โ€“ 2024-08-27

NEX moored on sea buoy deep sounder 80 ft depth, at Bahia Wafer Cocos Island. We have good weather wind blowing from W 2-4 kts. Cloudy and rainy day but some moments sun appears, air temperature 26 Celsius, sea state inside the bay is 1 ft. 

Yesterday the last dive at the Manuelita site was a little light, but still the hammer sharks were back, and the guests were happy. Also, yesterday we had the visit of the park ranger and he gave information about the Cocos Island to our clients.  

This morning one dive has been done. One group in Roca Sucia other Bajo Punta Maria with good visibility 18-20 mtrs. Water temperature 26 Celsius. 

First dive was good, divers saw hammer sharks, some big other smaller, many bonitos, many yellowfin tuna, many reef fish, two big eels, and the divers were very happy. 

Our second dive was much better, same visibility 18-20 mts and temp 26 Celsius. They saw eagle rays again, hammerhead sharks, Galapagos sharks and bonitos everywhere, blue striped snapper everywhere. All guests are fine and very happy.
