Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2024-09-09

NEX moored to the sea buoy inside Bahia Wafer Coco Island, deep sounder 82 ft depth, we have good weather wind blowing from SW 2-4 kts. Cloudy and rainy-day air temperature 28 Celsius, sea state inside the bay is 1 ft.

Yesterday the last dive at the Manuelita Canal and Manuelita Profundo guests saw some hammer sharks, many jacks and some Tunas yellow fin just passing. This morning one dive has been done one group in Dos Amigos Pequeño other group in Dos Amigos Grande.

Dos Amigos Pequeño was very good with good visibility 20-22 mtrs., a little current to N, water temperature 26 Celsius, very good action, divers saw school of hammer shark some Galapagos, some oceanic black tips, two mantas one black and other chevron, two marbled ray.

Other group Dos Amigos Grandes they saw some hammer sharks, and many of bonitos many snappers some tunas yellow fin. Divers very happy.

On second dive one group in Dos amigos pequeño temp. 26 Celsius they saw hammerhead sharks, some Galapagos, some white tips many bonitos. And another group in Dos Amigos Grandes saw hummer sharks, one tiger shark regular size many reef fish, some tunas, many jacks, three eels, visibility 20 mtrs.
