Captain’s Noon Reports – Gallant Lady – 2024-09-27

Good afternoon, everyone, NGL at anchor at San Fracisco Island Bay. 45 ft depth 2.5 shots out. Weather Conditions Light breeze, Seas 1 ft. clear sky, air temp 38C.

Last night we departed Club Cantamar Marina Pichilingue and make our way to San Francisco Island Bay. Arrived this early morning. We carried out our dive safety briefing this morning and dive gear set up. We did our check dive at the wall in the bay, with calm waters and great viz.

It was a nice dive full of reef fishes, crustaceans, clams (Chocolatas) and a couple of divers saw an eagle ray passing away, and a sting ray. Temperature was warm around 30C. We are currently in dive #2 at La Lobera. 1 afternoon dive and a night dive is the plan of today. We will depart early morning to Las Animas for tomorrows dives. Airplane passed by around noon above us, but they didn’t see anything nearby.
