Yesterday we did 2 afternoon dives at sea lion colony in San Francisco Island, both dives with very playful sea lions who gave a good bubble show to our divers, also there was a big school of barracudas among a lot of other fishes. Viz was great 20mts and warm temp 30 C and a moderate current from North to south.
On the night dive only a couple of French divers went to dive. we dove in San Francisco Bay wall, water temp 30C and no current. Good bioluminescence, our divers were able to see lobsters, sea cucumbers, Big Sea slugs, eels, and lot of fishes. They loved the night dive.
This morning, we arrived at las animas and dropped anchor on the west side of las animas. We have done 2 dives so far on the north point, where our divers could saw hammerheads on both dives.
First dive there was a school of 30-40 hammerheads, sea lions, octopus, turtles, and a lot of reef fishes. On second dive more of the same, but this time the school of hammers was around 20. Great viz on both dives around 20 mts water temp 29 C. First dive was no current but on second dive was a little bit from the North. Planning to more dives this afternoon with sea lions and we will depart to El bajo Espiritu Santo.
