“We had a great day of diving on Day 2 of the Sea of Cortez adventure! Our first dive at Las Animas we saw a school of 20+ hammerheads, sea lions, and a super active octopus on the reef! We continued diving around the area, seeing hammerheads on 3 out of 4 dives along with turtles, eels, pufferfish and more. We finished up with a shallow dive with the playful seals and sea lions in the bay. Our guides Mari and Nikee were so friendly and helpful with every aspect of the dive, including helping us practice deploying our DSMBs during safety stops. On every dive break, our amazing hostess Nubia had treats and snacks waiting for us. We finished up our day watching the sunset from the hot tub and enjoying tacos on the boat deck!”
