25.06.880N โ€“ 110.30.796W, light SE breeze, flat seas, we are anchor in las Animas, we made it here around 0700 this morning, cruising from las Paz was peaceful, some of the guests actually asked me if we really had moved the boat as they did not notice.

After briefing, breakfast and crew intro we splashed in the ocean, it took us some extra minutes to get everyone in the mood and ready. Minutes before getting in the water a huge pod of dolphins kept coming around the island and close to the boats.

In the dive they heard the dolphins but never saw them only a small group of four guests that are non-divers they when in the water with the dolphins and had some good close encounters. Today there was not current, visibility was 85Ft, water temperature is 84F, clear skies.

Dive was loaded with sea lions, tons of tropical fish, some were fascinated with a zebra eel and a lot more guests loving the water. As I write this text I can still see the dolphins on the southwest side of las animas.
