Good afternoon everyone, NGL at anchor at Las Animas. 130 ft depth 3.5 shots out. Weather Conditions Wind SE 10-12 kts, Sea 1-2 ft at anchorage, 3 – 4 ft South of the island, Sky mostly clear some white cumulus, air temp 34C.
Yesterday afternoon we moved to La Renita for afternoon dive and night dive. Before departure La Reyna wind started to pick up and seas as well, once we arrive to Cerralvo it was nice and calm.
At la Renita we had good dives, it was nice and calm. Night dive was great, school of fishes, nudibranchs, a few sea turtles, and a couple of octopuses.
This morning, we arrived to Las animas, all morning was windy and seas white caps. First dive was at Nort point, Great dive, great Viz and good temperature 29, and Hammerheads, a school of 30ish hammerheads almost the whole dive, there was a lot of fish. Divers were really happy.
Second dive was at the East rocks, there was full of different fishes, some sea lions and some divers could saw a few hammerheads as well. We are currently in the third dive. Tomorrow we will go to San Francisco island.
