Captainโ€™s Noon Reports โ€“ Gallant Lady โ€“ 2024-10-09

Good afternoon, everyone, NGL at anchor at North San Francisco Island. 30 ft depth 1.5 shots out. Weather Conditions Wind SE 8-10 kts, Sea 1-2 ft at anchorage, Cloudy sky most of the day, air temp 34C.

We had a great day yesterday at Las Animas, in 3 of 4 dives we had hammerheads and last dive at the Corralito a lot of sea lions. Everyone loved las animals.

This morning, we arrived to San Francisco Island, we did try to dive El Bajo Seco a pinnacle on the South east of the island, but we couldnยดt find it, viz was no great, so we went dive out of the lighthouse.

Viz there was much better, water temp was 28C but when divers came back up to the RHIB it was bit cloudy and windy so they felt little bit of cold. Nubia received them back on the boat with hot chocolate.

Second dive was at la Lobera, it was nice, a couple of sea lions playing around, there were a lot of different fishes, and macro life. Viz wasnโ€™t great either, 7 mts and water temp the same. We currently are in dive 3. We will finish the day here, and then move to Espiritu Santo for dive tomorrow.
