Captainโ€™s Noon Reports โ€“ Belle Amie โ€“ 2024-10-17

Underway heading southeast from Tethis Banks, we had a very productive morning, guests didnโ€™t have to ride the pangas all the way here, when the time came for them to board the Pangas, we were on top of the Tethis bank.

This morning they saw turtles several marlin jumping and they can see them from the boat, is just that the marlins are not eating. The other day we found few of the bait balls, tons of sardines but no marlin.

Anyways today they found a juvenile blue whale all of the guests were able to have a close encounter and they all loved it, for the afternoon round we are going to keep heading southeast and tomorrow our last day we will be southwest of Margarita Island where good things happen.

Today is a good day weather is improving for the best we still get some waves but a lot less that two day ago, lots of sun even though we have lots of clouds, air temperature is 72F, water is just the same, little air wind doing 6kts NW, waves go same way, water looks very blue guests say visibility is very nice 100 plus feet.
