Captainโ€™s Noon Reports โ€“ Gallant Lady โ€“ 2024-10-23

NGL  7nm W from Punta entrada. WX: Wind NW 5-8 kts, swell 3-4 ft from NW and W. Underway to SW to one of the pangas which they said they had a bait ball.

This morning was very quiet, Boat pangas got separated trying to look for good action, this early morning when the pangas went out, they found a large pod of dolphins near the coast of Isla Margarita, water is green south of Punta Entrada and near coastal.

After the dolphinsโ€™ action was slow, some sporadic dolphins, sea lions, but not bait balls. One of the pangas came back for lunch, the other panga is still out (Carlos group).

Yesterday afternoon Carlos group found a whale using the drone. They spent some time with the whale. At the end of the day, we went back to anchor inside Mag Bay at Punta Entrada. Finished the day with a great taco night.
