NEX about 10NM from the Mag Bay entrance today. Wind currently from the NW around 10-14kts. Swell variable from the SW and the NW 3-5ft, sky clear, air temp 24-26C.
This morning has been the best action so far of the trip, found some bait balls pretty early after pangas departed and everyone had a chance to be in the water and see them, some sealions and bonitos, also some groups saw marlins.
One group was fishing and caught 5 bonitos and then brought them back onboard the NEX. I asked them please no more bonitos onboard, 5 was enough for Enrique to prepare some sashimi for them and I didn’t want them coming back with a bunch more bonitos. They could catch and release if they wanted to fish more bonitos.
