NEX today searching bait balls near south end of Isla margarita. Weather was beautiful all morning with light winds and a 3ft swell, this afternoon it is picking up as forecast.

We had a very comfy transit overnight and arrived to meet the pangas this morning at Cabo Tosca by 0930 as planned and the guests ended up having the best morning of bait ball action so far this season. Quite a few bait balls around SW and W of Cabo Tosca today including a small static ball, so everyone got to see striped marlin feeding on the sardines.

Everyone was back onboard for lunch around 1300hrs and then headed back out for a second round which is now ending due to wind increasing. Tonight, our plan is anchor in front of Puerto Magdalena and tomorrow we will do a tour of the mangroves and dunes.

Forecasting 20-25kts of wind tomorrow and 7ft seas so no chance to be offshore or diving outside. After tomorrow we’ll see how it’s looking and make the plan for the following days.
