Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2024-11-01

Explorer today was searching about 10nm west of the south end of Isla margarita around the area called Pinnacle Rock. Weather was very nice this morning with wind around 5-8kts and 3ft swell, some low clouds early clearing up later in the morning. Wind picked up in the afternoon and by the end of the activities we had around 12-15kts and 4-5ft swell.

The activity today was really good again. Some good bait balls with lots of marlins around them. Some groups had static ball with great views of the marlin hitting it. Some whales around as well but only from the surface as far as I understand. Guests and crew are doing well. Guests happy with the action.

Tomorrow will be our last day and we will offer again the bait balls which will be their 4th day due to the weather we had earlier in the trip.
