Captainโ€™s Noon Reports โ€“ Belle Amie โ€“ 2024-11-16

Diving the Canyon, is a beautiful day, some cloud makes a nice picture of the sky, wind was going slow this morning then it picked up, and just now it stopped, we have 6kts NW winds in the Canyon, air temperature is 77F same as ocean, no current.

In the morning dives, mantas, hammerhead sharks, white tips, silver tips, Galapagos and silkies have been present in the morning dives but nothing excited the guests more than the humpback whales that cruise by, we were all cheering for the whales to swim towards us.

Visibility is 60Ft and going lower with the wind and time, lots of ashes from the island going in the ocean with this wind. We are having a long 8Ft NW swell, I can see how hard it is breaking on the south west side of the island.
