NGL Anchored at 24 32.8N-112 03.2W, Punta Entrada, Magdalena Island, clear sky, air temperature 74F, pleasant westerly breeze at 5 knots and swell of 2ft from the same direction.
Today we started the search for the Bait Balls from 8nm south of Cabo Tosco. We moved to the West 12nm and returned to near Margarita Island 3nm and with very little activity, very small balls and many dolphins that did not stop chasing making it difficult for the bait balls to stop and remain still so that the marlins could arrive and start the attack.
Following the baits towards the Punta Entrada and very close to the entrance. Finally, the dolphins retreated and let the Bait Ball stop and that is when the guests enjoyed the encounter for a good while.
At this time the wind began to rise in intensity above 15 knots and the swell was 6ft, making it difficult to get guests on the skiff. Yesterday afternoon all guests had good encounters with thousands of mobulas who cooperated very well.
