Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2024-12-07

NEX at anchor at The Boiler 115 ft depth 3 shots out. Weather: 12-15 kts NNW wind, 2-4 ft seas. Cloudy sky. Air temp 24 C. We arrived last night to fondeadero Where it was calm. This morning we did our check dive there,jumping from the back of the boat. It was a good dive, all divers are experienced divers. They were able to see 2 Mantas some slikies and a like 3-4 dolphins that were around. It was a good dive, everyone liked it. After finishing the first dive we move to the Boiler. We did second dive here which was amazing, 6-7 Mantas circuling around, one groupu saw a dolphin that came by and some others at the distance, a couple of hammerhead and galapagos sharks. But everyone loved the Mantas. Water conditions viz 20 mts, water temp 23C. No current. Currently we are in the third dive. We will do the fourth dive here and will depart for roca partida after dinner. No new deficiencies. Wifi, watermaker, compressors ok. Guests and crew all ok.
