Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2024-12-09

NGL offshore 5.3 nm from Cabo Tosco, South Margarita Island, sky is partially cloudy, air temperature 70F, wind from the north west 8-10 knots and swell from the north west 3-4 ft long period.

This morning began the search of bait balls, they made a few jumps into the water but in the first jumps the baits were fast, but later they get a static bait ball with a lot of marlins and sea lions, they spend the rest of time there.

Guest Israel Damari was able to observe a blue whale passing by, the air plane Eye on the sky helped us searching and then went to the bank to observe how was the activity there. We took on board the guests to lunch and break time.

After lunch they are going to be ready for more action. Visibility was very good, water temperature 68F. After lunch we´re going to search more bait balls. Plan for tomorrow it’s going to be the same.
