Hi everyone, NEX at anchor in San Benedicto Island, in Fondeadero for the checkout dive, visibility 5 to 10m, air temperature 24 Celsius, water temperature 24 Celsius, wind 12 kt N, swell 10 ft. NW.
Guests were able to catch a glimpse of manta rays, a hammerhead, and a white tip during their dive check. Dive 2 and 3, was very exciting the Guests had encounters with a school of hammerhead, several manta rays, many cotton mouth jacks, lots of stingrays, Galapagos, lobsters, and octopus.
The viz was 10 to 15m. We will do the fourth dive, and we are planning to set sail at night to Punta Tosca, since in the Boiler we would be more exposed, and the wave conditions will not improve yet.
In order not to risk the experience and safety of our guests, we will proceed to Socorro Island for the time being.
