Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2025-01-04

Diving Cabo Pearce. anchored in 100Ft of water, anchor 3 shots of chain holding the ship in place, beautiful day, wind does 6 kts NW , flat seas, clear skies, this morning at sunrise the clouds were making beautiful shapes as they danced with the wind.

Air temperature is 75F, ocean today is 76F, visibility varies with the side you are at, but in average is 75Ft, little current running south.

The dive: Cabo Pearce has been the hottest place for last few seasons this is my very personal opinion and today is been a great day. All guests have had the surprise to interact with Dolphins and Mantas in both morning dives, this is IT, loads of dolphins they were hunting and they came into the site lightening peoples eyes with their interaction and how close they come to you.

Mantas! they are here in large numbers they keep circling divers and getting cleaned, guests have learned to stay put and let the mantas come to them, then some of the guests had a small squadron of hammerhead sharks, then the white tip reef sharks, some diamond stingrays and the usual cast of fish.

Without a doubt Cabo Pearce is the place…
