Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2025-01-14

NBA reporting from Roca Partida, anchored in 250 ft with 5 shots of portside anchor.

We arrived this morning around 0600 hrs, there is a boat with us “Sun Rider”, they arrived an hour after us, beautiful weather here, 6-8 NW winds, and a 4-6 ft NW with a really long period swell, very cloudy day 6/8.

Yesterday we made our third dive and guests went out very happy, they showed me a couple of videos of dolphins and mantas playing around with them, fantastic.

After the dive we heaved the anchor and started navigating to Navy base for our weekly inspection, we anchored at the bay and it was presential, it went fine, then we went back to Punta Tosca anchorage for dinner. In the midway we realized a surprise MOB drill for the crew and everyone made a great job with good time of response.

Today we have made 2 dives and the guests seems really happy with the rock, they enjoyed school of yellow fin tuna and school of skipjacks, some mantas and a lot of white tips and huge silver tips. The day started with no current but is rising up a little bit, water temperature 24 Celsius, vis more than 100 ft.

We have 2 dives left and after that we will start our navigation back to Cabo San Lucas.
