NEX at anchor at Punta Tosca 130 ft depth 3 shots out. Weather: 20+ kts N wind, 1-2 ft wins seas in the bay. Clear sky. Air temp 21 C. It has been very windy today. Wind raised up over 20 kts since 0900 hrs, there are white caps here in the bay. Explorer holding strong, Solmar has dragged anchor twice.

We have done 2 dives here at Punta Tosca, it has been a quiet morning with not too much action, but with a strong current to the West.

First dive only one manta, a single hammerhead, a couple of dolphins that just passed by, they didn’t stay with the divers. One of the groups saw a tiger shark 15-20 mts away from them. Viz was 20 mts, water temp 23C and a strong current to west.

On second dive things got better for one of the groups that they saw 3 mantas, one of them was a huge black manta, a Galapagos shark, and a single hammerhead. Some reef fishes and puffer fish, the other groups just saw one manta and some single sharks.

Planning to do one more dive here and then go to navy base for check in and then anchor at Cabo Pearce for dive tomorrow there.
