Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2025-02-02

NUS at anchor in El Cañon area, San Benedicto Island, weather conditions are good wind ENE 8-10 kts, air temp. 20 Celsius, sea state 1 ft in anchorage area, sunny day.

In our first dive (check dive) was good conditions into the water good visibility around 23-25 mtrs and temp. 21 Celsius, they saw some hammer sharks. Just one dolphin passing by, one black manta and many reef fish.

The second dive was very very good conditions into the water again good visibility 23-25 mtrs. Temp. 21 Celsius they saw many hammerheads shark (small school), some Galapagos shark, many silver tips and white tips, three mantas and many reef fish.

One group that was in the Manta Rock saw 6 mantas. Our guests are very happy, a few minutes ago the sailing boat Phase 8 arrived. we have intentions to be here in San Benedicto tomorrow.
