Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2025-02-06

Hi everyone, NBA reporting from westside of Socorro Island “Punta Tosca”, anchored with 3 shots in the water with 150 ft depth.

We arrived at the island early in the morning and started our dive day at 0800 again, there are no boats around. It’s a windy day 15-20 kn winds coming from NW, and calm seas in this shelter area 1-2 ft swell same direction, clear skies, air temperature 21°Celsius.

Our divers have done 2 dives and the dives have been good, interacting with some Mantas, a couple of dolphins around, some reef fish and white tips around the dive site, there are a light current coming from NW and a little of swell too, visibility in not that good but around 40 ft, and the water temperature 21°Celcius.

After the dives our host and hostess received our guest with hot drinks and towels. We are making one more dive here and then moving to the south side of Socorro for our navy inspection, then heading up to Cabo Pearce for our last day there, lets finger cross for great ending there.
