Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2025-02-13

Good day! Nautilus Belle Amie reporting from Punta Tosca at the westside of Socorro Island, we arrived to the dive site around 0200 hrs and spent the rest of the night anchored, we have 3 shots in the water with a depth of 140 ft, it is a very windy day with gauges of N winds from 20 to 30 kns and a long swell coming from NW of 3-5 ft, sunny day with some clouds around sky 2/8 and air temperature of 21 °C.

There are 2 other boats with us “Adventure & Southern sport” we are jumping in the water at 2nd place.

Our dive operation starts at 0800 hrs and we have done 2 dives so far, which has been fantastic, specially the second one where the divers could enjoy playing with a big spot of dolphins and a couple of Mantas the whole dive! besides that they have seen a couple of hammerheads, silkies, and whitetips around.

The visibility is around 50ft, and the water temperature is 21°C, there is a strong current coming from E to W. The guests are doing great.

After the 3rd dive, we will head up to Navy Base for our navy inspection and then go to Cabo Pearce to have a nice night anchored.
