Good day everyone, NBA anchored in Cabo Pearce, Socorro Island at 100 ft, 3 shots,
Yesterday in the last two dives in the canyon there were good animal encounters, similar to those of dive #1, seeing large tunas and a school of jacks.
We arrived at the Socorro island/Cabo Pearce after midnight around 01:15 hrs, we started our day early in the morning with our Dive #1 at 0700.
The dive was great and very exciting, a pretty good animal encounter with dolphins, many mantas, sharks, Galapagos, silkies, we were able to see humpback whales nearby on the surface when we started picking up the divers, it was very exciting for the guests.
Dive 2 was also great, big mantas interacting well with the guests, weather conditions in Cabo Pearce wind from the N 5 to 10 kts., sky; cloudy and 1-3 ft swell, air temperature 23°C, water temperature 22°C, visibility 15-20m/49-65ft.
The guests seem very happy with the experience so far, the crew doing their best in every activity, we will make 2 more dives here.
We are considering doing Punta Tosca and navy check tomorrow.
