Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2025-03-02

Good day everyone! NEX reports from West side of San Benedicto Island, El Boiler.

Our last 2 dives at Cabo Pearce were good, there was a lot of life in the dive site, the only bad thing it was the visibility getting worst anyway; Weather conditions today are, clear skies, air temperature 22°C and water temperature 23°C. NW winds from 10-15 kns and waves from 4-6 ft height from the same direction, the boat is rocking and rolling but it doesn’t affect the dive operation.

The arrival at the island was around 2300 hrs last night, and spent the night anchored. There are no boats with us. We started our dive day at 0800 hrs and have done 2 dives so far and there were dolphins in both dives, besides that, lots of mantas, hammerheads, sliver, and white tips around the rock, with some reef fish too.

After the 4th dive, we will move to Cañon for our last diving day. The crew is doing good, and guests are at lunch now. They are amazed with the Boiler, they really asked for it the whole week.
