Good day, Nautilus Explorer anchored at east side of Socorro Island, “Cabo Pearce”, with 3 shots in the water over 110 ft depth.
We arrived at the island last night around 2230 hrs and spent the night anchored, there is other vessel with us “Valentina” since last night, but we started with the 0700 hrs. schedule.
The last 2 dives yesterday at Cañon were great, most of our guests dove and they enjoyed a lot of marine life interaction at the cleaning station and the last dive at lava flow was amazing too. Today is a windy day, the wind come until 25 kns, and the waves height is around 3-5 ft, sky is partly cloudy, and air temperature is 22 °C, water temperature is 21°C.
We have done 2 dives, and the visibility is good (around 60 ft), our divers enjoyed Mantas, school of hammerheads, dolphins in the first dive, white tips, silvertips, and reef fish around the lava finger.
After our fourth dive we will move to west side of Socorro, Punta Tosca to stay a nice night anchored before dinner and make our day tomorrow.
Guests are happy and enjoying dinner.
