Good day everyone, NBA anchored southside of San Benedicto Island Fondeadero/“Canyon”.
We arrived at the island this morning at 07:30 hours, it’s a beautiful day with good weather today, clear skies and 1.3m swell outside, 10 kt N winds, air temperature 21°C.
We started our day early in the morning with our check dive which was great at 08:00 hours, divers had no big issues with buoyancy and equipment besides that they enjoyed the dive with hammerheads, a couple of mantas, Galapagos and silkies around.
We will finish the next two dives here in the canyon to complete the 4 dives of the day.
The second dive of the day was good with more marine life, guests came out so happy after it, they could see Galapagos, silkies, silver tips, white tips, hammerheads, and reef fish too, very good visibility more than 20 m, no current so far and water temperature was 23°Celsius.
Crew and guests are doing fine, we will enjoy our taco night, and stay the night anchored, tomorrow early morning we will move to the Boiler.
