Yesterday afternoon at Cabo Pearce, dives were good, lot of sharks at the cleaning station, Galapagos, silkies, silvertips, reef whitetips, a couple of mantas. We finished the day with the delicious and famous taco night. Departed to Roca Partida after dinner.
This morning at Roca we have done 2 dives, Rocio del Mar was here when we arrived, but we´re diving first. First dive there were some dolphins in north of the rock buck there were a bit far. 4 mantas, a school of bonitos, lobsters and lot of reef whitetip sharks. The viz is was great 25 mts or more, light current from NW but cold water temp 21C.
On second dive a few divers skipped this dive because of the cold. It was a bit quiet, lot of reef whitetip sharks, reef fishes 1 one manta around. The lucky ones were our DG Marcel and one diver from his group that they could saw a mom and calf humpback whales just at the beginning of their dive, whales passed like 15 mts from them.
Marcel was trying to got the rest of the group attention but no one else saw the whales. 2 more dives to go this afternoon.
