Yesterday afternoon at Roca Partida, dives were kind of quiet and cold, there was not much action as it used to be adding that the water temp was colder than Socorro and San Benedicto.
Today we arrived to Socorro to Roca O’Neal, first dive in the morning was there, most of guest said it was a nice dive, a few mantas and some sharks. One of guest saw a big shark but he couldn’t appreciate what kind of shark was. There was dolphin in the morning before to jump in the water but they went away. Water temp was 23C viz was low 15 mts in the plateau but it was better deeper on the wall.
After that we moved to Punta Tosca. Second dive in Punta Tosca was ok, viz wasn’t so good like 15 mts, water temp 23C. One of the groups had the whole dive a black manta with them. Other groups saw a couple of mantas for a while and a couple of hammerheads. There were some humpback whales that were close but not close enough to see them underwater.
We are on the third dive. then we are going to navy base for check in. Wind was calm in the morning but it started to pick up through the day.
