NEX at anchor at Punta Tosca on 130 ft of water, 3 shots out. Today has been cloudy and windy, N´ly winds 15-20 kts, seas are calm in the bay 1-2 ft but off the point are 5-8 ft.
This morning has been cloudy, dark low cumulus clouds coming from the north, touching the tip of the mountain and clearing on the south of the island. Clouds are clearing right now. Air temp is 21C.
Arrived last night to Punta Tosca, it started to get windy before arrived. This morning winds had increased. We had done 2 good dives here. Main stars are the Mantas, there are like 4-5 Mantas in both dives.
In first dive one of the groups saw a couple of dolphins just at the beginning of their dive. There was also a big green turtle and a couple of hammer heads. Water conditions today has been great, temperature is 24C and a great viz 25+ mts, in the first dive there was a medium current to the West, but in dive 2, current decreased.
The highlight of the day was that just when the last group was back onboard the skiff 3 humpback whales passed really close from the skiff, like 20 mts away, a couple of them breached in front of the skiff. That group was super happy. We are planning to do one more dive here and then move to navy base for check in.
This morning we took guest Penni Vidler to dive between dive 1 and 2, DG Felipe went with her to check how she felt. She did great, she is feeling great and happy.
