Hello everyone, NBA reporting from Roca Partida, anchored in 245 ft with 4.5 shots, portside anchor,
We arrived this morning around 0630 hrs, the weather here, 10-14 NW winds, and a 4-8 ft NW with a short period swell, very cloudy day 7/8.
Yesterday we made our dive 4 in the Canyon and guests went out very happy, mantas playing around with them, fantastic. Today we have made 2 dives and the guests seems really happy with the rock, they enjoyed school of yellow fin tuna and skipjacks, cotton mouth jacks, some mantas and a lot of white tips and silver tips.
Started with no current but is rising up a little bit, air temperature 20 Celsius, water temperature 23 Celsius, vis more than 100 ft, we have 2 dives left and after that start our navigation to Socorro Island, Punta Tosca.
Crew is doing really good and guests are happy. Skiff operations were complicated by high wave conditions, so additional safety measures were taken and more emphasis was placed on pre-dive briefings for guests to minimize any accidents.
