NEX at anchor at the canyon on 55 ft of water, 2 shots out. It´s a cloudy day today, with light NW winds, 2-3 ft swell from the SW of the island. This early morning was windy, and it went calming down through the morning. Water temp today is 22C.
We have had 2 really great dives this morning full of sharks and mantas. Sharks are very active all around the Canyon, and there are 3-4 Mantas as well following our divers. Silkies, Galapagos, silvertips, Reef whitetips, Hammerheads and 2 tiger sharks in both dives, one big male 3 mts long and a curious juvenile.
In dive 1 viz was great super clear, because there was a medium-strength current to the East, but in second dive current calmed down almost to none and viz wasn’t that great, like 15 mts.
Guest are looking forward for the next dives as there will be the last 2 dives of the trip. We will depart to Cabo San Lucas this evening.
