NEX at anchor at San Benedicto the Canyon on 50 ft of water, 2 shots out. Much better conditions today than yesterday, this early morning it was nice and calm and now started to be a bit windy. Winds are coming around the S point 10-15 kts and seas 2-3ft . Clear sky with some clouds. Air temp 21C.
Yesterday afternoon we did both dive at the lava flow, there were good dives, mantas and sharks, they saw a lot of baby small sharks. At the end of the day all divers were so happy.
This morning, we dove the Canyon. Amazing, crazy, incredible, were some words from guests and from our DG from both dives at the Canyon. There´s everything that you can see in Socorro, there were missing only dolphins and whale shark. Mantas, lot of sharks, silkies, Galapagos, duskies, silvertips, reef whitetips, hammerheads and tiger shark, some bonitos, some guests saw a wahoo.
Very nice day today, nice water conditions, viz 20+ mts water temp 23C and very light current, and very good dives. We will do 2 more dives here and we will depart to Socorro Punta Tosca after dinner.
Our guests they are very comfortable underwater specially if they had to stay on a place the whole dive, as most of them are old people, and some of them take their time to get on the skiffs, but today they are doing great to board the skiff from the boat, it is nice and calm here though.
