Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2025-04-11

Just Dropped anchor at the Boiler, anchor resting in 133Ft of water, weather here looks nicer than in the Canyon, here is deeper so the huge swells in the Canyon does not affect that much here. We have a light NW breeze air temperature is 72F.

At the Canyon we had a ripping current running to the west, water was 74F, visibility in check dive was 20Ft at the Canyon they say below 30 Ft visibility was 100Ft but we had this layer of very white water, it was impossible to see more than 10Ft in that layer but once you got down there it was okay.

Lots to see, our guests were impressed with the schooling hammerheads, the mantas and the cleaning station full of all kinds of sharks it was just the current making it hard for them to enjoy now we are going to try the Boiler to see how it goes.
