Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2025-04-12

NEX at anchor at Roca Partida on 245 ft of water, 4 shots out. Nice weather today light winds 5-8 kts NNW, long period swell 3-5 ft, Clear and sunny sky, air temp 24C, water temp 21C, light current from NW, Viz 20+mts.

Arrived this morning at Roca Partida, Solmar V was here already. We have done 2 dives, there have been good dives with mantas, 4-5 mantas, one of the groups saw them at the same time.

On second dive, there are the local, reef whitetips, lobsters, a lot of fishes and there is a school of bonitos and yellowfin tunas. There is one big yellowfin tuna with a bite from a shark. The day is beautiful, light breeze pretty calm seas and a nice blue sky and blue ocean.

Guests are enjoying the day. We will do 2 more dives here; we will depart tonight to Cabo Pearce for dive there tomorrow.
