NEX at anchor in Fondeadero on 51ft depth, 2 shots out. Strong winds 13-17kts N, swell 2-3 ft, partly cloudy, air temp 21C, water temp 20C, current from NW, viz 15-20mts.
We arrived in the Canyon last night and dropped anchor, it was a calm night after the swell that had been pounding us.
This morning, they started the dive check at the Fondeadero, where surprisingly they were visited by a very friendly chevron manta, and a curious tiger shark. Then they did the other dive in the Canyon where they were able to see Galapagos and Hammer heads sharks at the cleaning station.
The guests are very excited about how the trip started. Today we will stay at anchor and leave first thing tomorrow morning for the Boiler.
